Arrival, Weather, Food & Safety
Arrival & Parking
Camping and parking are separate unless you’ve purchased a car camping pass.
There’s no overnight loitering in the car park — once you’ve arrived, head to the campgrounds and get set up.
It’s a short walk from the car park to the campsites — a good chance to stretch your legs, haul your gear, and ease into it.
If you’re bringing a couch or marquee, you’ll need to leave a $50 deposit at check-in. Bring it back out with you and you’ll get the money back.
Leave junk behind and will be banned from future events.
Weather
Hopkins Creek weather is committed to the bit. Sun, hail, dust, mud — sometimes all in one day.
Check the forecast, but don’t trust it. Bring gear for every scenario. We’ve seen it all and we’re still standing.
Food & Drink
There’ll be food vendors onsite all weekend serving up hot meals, snacks and caffeinated things.
Ice is available at the event.
There are no cash-out facilities on site, so get your cash sorted on Friday.
Hopkins is BYO-friendly — but pace yourself, and no glass.
Grab a cocktail at Barry’s Bait Shop or swing past our newest bar, yet to be announced, if you’re feeling fancy.
Plastic water bottles are banned. Bring your own reusable bottle or pick one up from the General Store. (Soft drinks and alcohol in plastic bottles are still allowed.)
