  • Ticketing & Entry

You’ll need a digital ticket and valid photo ID. No ID, no entry. Don’t print your ticket — just save the PDF or a screenshot to your phone, and make sure your screen brightness is up.

Every ticket is scanned at the gate. If your ticket has already been scanned, entry will be denied. Don’t share your ticket or screenshot it for your mate. It won’t work for them, and it won’t work for you either.

Wristbands must be worn at all times while on site and cannot be removed and reattached.

Read more about our ticketing policies.

  • Parking

For those staying in a tent [or on the ground, as nature intended]:

    • Tent camping and parking are separate. You’ll park in the main car park and walk your gear to the campsite.

    • All cars will need to purchase a car pass to park on site. Car-pooling is encouraged.

    • No overnight loitering in the car park — once you’ve arrived, head to the campgrounds and get set up.

For those staying in a vehicle, trailer or caravan (comfort is a slippery slope):

    • You will purchase a car camping pass when you buy your ticket and stay in the designated car camping area.

    • No tents or ground camping are permitted in this area.

  • Community Bus Service

    COMMUNITY BUS

The wheels on the bus go round & round!

Departing from the Southern Cross coach terminal, destination: the centre of the universe/middle of nowhere. Keep a close eye on your ticket and departure time. Buses leave Friday and head directly to Hopkins Creek. Return services depart Monday morning and will have you back in Melbourne before you know it.

Each passenger may bring one camping load plus one small personal item. Think: backpack + tent, duffel + swag, suitcase + sleeping bag. Think less: three eskies, a wardrobe and everything but the kitchen sink.

Space on the bus is limited, so pack thoughtfully. Have your ticket ready on your phone when boarding. You'll receive your festival wristband before departure, meaning less queueing and more arriving.

    PRIVATE BUS HIRE

Bus full of cobbers? If you're organising private transport, please register your bus by purchasing a Humanitix private bus ticket. This helps us coordinate arrivals, parking and safe access across the weekend.

  • Land of Nod

For the old-school canvas heads, you've got two options: Uptown or Downtown.

    Uptown

For the early birds, the horizon watchers and those partial to a scenic front yard. A little closer to the action, a little higher on the hill. More room to spread out, good air, good views and first dibs on the morning light. First in, best dressed.

    Downtown

The tried and true. A touch further from the commotion and well-suited to those who enjoy a respectable distance between the dance floor and their sleeping arrangements. A short stroll, a soft landing and a fine place to call home for the weekend.

  • The Trailer Park

    A controversial interpretation of camping.

If you've purchased a Car Camping Pass you're welcome to camp in or on your vehicle, trailer or caravan.Ground tents are not permitted in this area. No exceptions.

Got a mixed bag? The general camp is located nearby for those sleeping under canvas.Car Camping Pass holders do not require a standard Car Pass. Vehicle entry is included.

  • The Motor Inn

    Don't sleep on sleep.

Located on the south-east side of Hopkins Creek, The Motor Inn is a little quieter by design. Close to ticketing. Close to the end of the Main Drag. Far enough from the commotion. Each booking includes a tent, bed and bedding ready upon arrival. No poles. No pegs. No puzzling diagrams.

For photos and the finer details, check your Humanitix booking. Bedding is included. Towels are not. If you're planning on utilising the campground showers, bring one along. The Motor Inn is reserved exclusively for Motor Inn guests. No vehicles are permitted within the accommodation area, however parking can be found nearby. Once you've collected your wristband from ticketing, head to The Motor Inn and introduce yourself to the concierge. They'll point you in the right direction.

Check-in opens from 12pm Friday. Check-out is by 11am Monday. The site is fully accessible. If you require a hand on arrival, simply ask.

Plans changed? Bookings can be transferred or resold via Humanitix.

  • Pack It In, Pack It Out

Some festivals end in a landfill. We do not. If your neighbour’s ghosting their gear, let us know. If it’s yours — sort it out.

Bringing a couch or marquee? You’ll need to leave a $50 deposit with the ticketing crew. You’ll get it back when you leave with that same item.

This place doesn’t clean itself — and we want to keep coming back. Respect the land. Leave no trace.

  • Four Seasons in One Day

Say it with us now: Always. Be. Prepared.

Hopkins Creek weather is committed to the bit. Sun, hail, dust, mud. Sometimes all in one day. Check the forecast, but don’t trust it. Bring gear for every scenario. We’ve seen it all and we’re still standing.

Whether this is your first rodeo or last, an essentials reminder never goes astray.

Don’t compromise where equipment is concerned. Buy, borrow or hire quality gear that can withstand the elements. The Earth is firm in camp, durable pegs essential. Be double clever & pack a tarp, spare pegs, hammer, camping lights etc.

Durable footwear, thick socks, multiple changes, warm/protective clothing are all wardrobe priorities before the fancy hat. Scarves, small rugs, yoga mats, magic carpets will also benefit your experience.

Just by being here we’ve already won.
